Clean up quickly after your dog, without making a big fuss, this only encourages the dog to grab their poop & eat it faster. Believe it or not, the dog will outgrow this habit within a few months at the worst.

The 1st thing to do is to ensure that once she defecates, pick it up. the next thing to do is speak with her vet, dogs eating their own feces is a sign of a vitamin deficiency.

This is quite normal i had it with my two westies when they were pups.Its called corophagia.You can get a product from pets at home cant remeber what its called but they will know.Or the other thing is to try pineapple juice in with the food its supposed to make the poo less palatable.My two just grew out of it.Another reason is that the food you are giving them is mineral deficient so check with the vet firstly to make sure there is nothing wrong with the pup.

I found that my pup was hungrier than what I was feeding him. So I increased his food intake a little more and added treats which probably helps to keep him from his poop. I have had to watch him constantly all day especially after he eats. I found a couple of weeks ago that he was holding his poop in so that when I was away for a few minutes he would be able to eat his poop. I haven't lately seen him eat eat since I increased the food from 1 cup to 1 1/2 cup. I think once you get into your daily cycle, the issue will resolve itself and the poops will be more regular and predictable. Good luck. It is one of the hardest things in having pups. PS. pineapple didn't work for me. The store bought pills or vet powders helps but they will if determined will still eat it or at least lick it. Supposedly it is not a disgusting thing for them at all.
