They have grooming books with ideas and practices you should invest in. Make sure you have good clippers and blades that are sharp and make sure you do not use them if they are hot, they can harm your dog, especially around sensitive areas. Also make sure you can do anal glands..(book) always run your hands over dog to feel for any lumps or bumps as they can be cut by these sharp shears..Get a good pair of scissors.and at least a brush a comb and preferably something to help shedding like a rubber glove or brush. Wash, dry and brush dog before cutting..Good Luck..

I agree with taking them to the vet for their nails. They have a never in their nails, when you cut it, it bleeds all over the place and the dog is in terrible pain. Or if you mean grooming, then lots of small pet stores do it, or petco.
