The Christmas Family Photo.

When I saw this picture all I could say is AWWWWWWW how cute! How did you ever get them to pose? I have tried several times trying to get a good picture of my Stanley. Do they all get along with each other? I was thinking of getting another Shih Tzu but then again Stanley is stubborn and a little jealous sometimes.

Gotta love that picture. I only have 1 but he is the sweetest little guy and so smart. Hope cto get a little girl for christmas but will have to see if santa brings her.

I have three Shih Tzu's: Rosie is a nine year old brindle. Sophia is a five year old black and white and Lola is a one year old, solid black, deaf and blind Shih Tzu. I got attached to a rescue, in California over twenty years ago. Needless to say, I still have Shih Tzu's and adore them all.

Two years ago our (Maltese) Mindy went to doggie heaven. It's been hard to get to the place where we are "thinking" of another pet. Mindy weighed 5 pounds and weloved this size. We'd like another Mindy, but just can't afford one since we're at retirement. Do Shih Tzus come that small? I saw a "dolly" not too long ago that was really small but I think she was only about 6 months old. We also had a darling Poodle some years ago and we lost her at age 17. That was also very hard. Renee' weighed about 6 pounds.

Well, when the right pet comes along, we'll know it. I have been reading the information about the raising and care of a Shih Tzu. I don't remember, however, if they shed. They are really cute.

Shih Tzus do not shed and require daily grooming just like people need to comb their hair every day. Their hair is silky and sooo soft. We have two, Lola is 6 mos and solid white except for very faint "gold" feathering on her ears, and Chewy (Chewbacca), is our year-old brindle male. He was a gift from a friend after we lost our Chato. Chewy "chose" me after I dog sat over Thanksgiving. Later, my husband insisted on a female to join our family.
