Can they easily get health problems because my parents don’t want to spend too much money. And do they get sick easier if you stay away from them for a while? Like when I’m at school and my parents r at work. Whats their average time limit for me to stay away from them?
I DIDN'T SAY I WASN'T WILLING TO PAY MONEY FOR MY DOG!!! AND I'M ONLY GETTING ONE U IDIOTS!!!
My Shih Tzu had tons of problems, and cost over $1500 the first two years of his life. That was a loooong time ago, so those dollars were worth more, too.
What you might do instead, is to contact Shih Tzu Rescue, or

and find TWO little adult dogs that should stay together.
You would not only be rescuing two dogs, but also they would have each other’s company during the day when you were at school. And by getting adults, you would have a much better idea of their health.
There’s nothing cuter than a Shih Tzu puppy (OK, there is – an Aussie puppy…), but there’s nothing sadder than a puppy in the hospital either, and they should never grow up all alone like that..
Nope, go to rescue, and see what they have – but ONLY if your parents will be taking proper care of it should anything happen.

If you don’t want your dog to get sick and pay for it, don’t get a dog. You can never buy a dog and know if it will get sick or not. God forbid you get a dog and it gets ill, I worry about its well being. Dogs shouldn’t be alone all day (8-6).

Sounds like you are not prepared to have two puppies. Dogs can be expensive, we have four!, and they require a lot of time and consistency. Being around rescues I see many pets abandoned because they simply didn’t have the time or the money. Perhaps volunteer at a local shelter until you have more free time and more money.

If your parents don’t want to pay for vet care, don’t get a dog. Also someone should come home & take the dog out , 8 hours is too long.
