Do Pomeranians and Shih Tzu dogs get along?

I have a female Shih Tzu puppy and I am looking into getting another female next year possibly.
I am either going to get a Pomeranian or another Shih Tzu.

I know it depends on the individual dog but in general if a Pomeranian has the average temperament of an average Pomeranian would it get along well with a Shih Tzu who are more laid back?

Does anyone have a Pomeranian and a Shih Tzu? Are they compatible temperament-wise?

Any advice would be appreciated
Its not the breed that causes it to get along. It just all depends on how socialized both dogs are.

Example:

I had a great dane growing up she was the sweetest dog ever. We never had another dog around her. When we finally did she went nuts and if she wouldnt have been on a leesh she would have hurt this other dog.

Now I know some friends witha great dane and they always socialized him with other dogs and hes fine with big dogs small dogs mean dogs noisy dogs..etc..
