   shih tzu drooling and foaming at the mouth?
   I have a 1 year old female shih tzu. She has such a lovely temperament and very easy going. Today we brought home a male puppy shih tzu and my female seemed ok with it, wagging tail etc, but she is drooling a LOT and it seems foamy. Is this just nerves? or this something to be concerned about? I have given her a lot of attention and took her for a walk because I don't want her to feel left out.
   Any advice much appreciated.

   oh better get it checked out. make sure there is diseaeses that makaes everything seem ok and out of no where makes it go crazy. make sure its not rabies first

   Their is nothing wrong with your dog. U brought home a new puppy.. that is her problem. I have a mix breed and everytime she gets around another new dog she foams and drools. That is their way of showing they r nervous. She is fine, just a lil jealous. She will get use to the puppies and be fine. Good Luck =D

   I have 3 Shih Tzus and have breeded them before… Not recalling them foaming though… But perhaps it's becuase of a MALE in the house…If it hasn't gone in a few days or even months(If the male is living there)…it would best be to check her at the vet.

   Probably nothing but just to be safe have the vet check him out. I have 3 shih tzus and they are the greatest. Have fun with them.
