I got this Shih-tzu about 2weeks ago from a breeder..First he knew where he could pee and where he could not..
but these few days..when i let him out of his crate to play..he peed on the carpet but usually before he would hold it in until he goes back into his pee pee area with the training pad..is there any way to stop this behaviour? or does anyone why is my BeBu acting like this? thanks!
he pees because he is overly excited, and wants to play. as soon you open the crate, pick him up and put him on the training pad.

Well, I really dont know why this happens, but the same thing happened to me. What u do is when u do let him out to play, at the time he usually goes to the bathroom, or when u let him out, u can take him to the pad. If he goes on it, give him a treat and praise him. Keep doing this, eventually, u wont have to do it anymore. GOOD LUCK!

take him outside on a leash and everytime he goes in one spot give him a treat, or try buying those pads/mats you can put in your house and train him to go else where.

you need help for sure. My little guy and I called petsmart and enrolled in their obedience classes right away was very cheap and helped with all problems, tell them areas that are needing most help. like peeing, maybe your dog needs to go out more often than normal for now. maybe doesn't understand crate training maybe you haven't done it correctly. go to a trainer and get it done now before a lifetime of bad habits make you and your dog unhappy
