I know she is biting because she is a puppy but I want to start
teaching her not to do that. What is the best way to accomplish that. I do keep a lot of toys to chew on.
As I said about kittens:
Rule one: Remember its a kitten.
Rule two: a kitten is a wild animal and will remain that way unless you help her/him see the light.
When Kitty attacks stop her/him GENTLY and say NO firmly.
There is little need to yell and no reason to hit.
Later when kitty figures out the counter a spray bottle
or squirt gun is good ….. except my kids like water ! When she bites, hold her away from you and say no.
If you play rough, or even for too long, kittens get riled up, adult cats as well.
You may need to back off on play intensity to help reduce attacks.
Best Wishes, and LOVE your baby

It's a matter of teaching right from wrong. Use a rolled up newspaper when she goes to bite a human, and lightly tap it over her snout. Right after gently hold her mouth and sternly say NO. DON'T BEAT HER, just a gentle thwap over the snout. Puppies will soon associate the newspaper with the word NO….and soon, the word no will take place of the newspaper.

you take hold of the lower jaw between the two bottom teeth and hold on for a few seconds and say no bite. the puppy finds this uncomfortable. do this two or three times and this should help.
