Dog snoring…?

Anyone have experience with successfully getting a dog to stop snoring? I have a 3 year old Imperial Shih Tzu, and though I know it is a character of the breed, she only started doing this a month or so ago. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I would hate to have to kennel her at night, because she keeps everyone awake!
I know it's part of their trait, I just don't understand why for 3 years she didn't do it, and just now she's started to…

Learn to sleep through it, or have him sleep somewhere else.

My wife just takes a sleeping pill every night so she can sleep through the snoring from our rottie mix.

Sorry - nothing you can do apart from having the soft palate cut and that is unnecessary and painful and most vets won't contemplate doing it because its classed as cosmetic so you'll have to get used to it! My little yorkie snored like a steam train and used to keep me awake for hours but you know, when he died, i missed his snoring soooo much, it was a part of him that drove me mad but it was the part of him i remembered most at nights when i was missing him.

I had a Shih Tzu, he snored too, at first we thought he was having a cold, and we took him to the Vet, he prescribed antibiotics, after about 500 dollars later, nothing changed, we finally realized it's his little nose, that couldn't blow the air out.

Yep, look at the Shih Tzu boy in my avatar, he snores louder than my grandparents combined. It's their tiny little snout, sorry they're born that way
