I have a one year old shih tzu but I know he has to be mixed with something else because he is too tall for a pure breed. My vet could not figure it out and the lady I got him from said he was mixed with Pekinese but I dont see that either. Any suggestions?

Lhasa apso, maybe. Or cocker spaniel (the face in the last one makes me think so, and they are taller than shih tzus).

Nose looks too long for a Lhasa, and Maltie-tzus are common enough that most vets can recognize one
