Out of these, which should I get?
A Chocolate lab named Hazel (Short for hazelnut)
A white Shih Tzu named Snow
A Yorkie named Mocha
Or a Boxer named Roxxane
Feel free to suggest differnt names. Not a different breed.

Want a high-energy dog because you're an athlete, with a lot of loyalty and friendliness mixed in? A Lab is for you.
Want a small dog, though you will have to put up with a lot of grooming? You can try a Shih Tzu or a Yorkie.
Want a high-energy dog because you're an athlete, with a healthy amount of loyalty plus quite a bit of protectiveness blended in? A boxer is a great choice!

WOW what a different bunch. I say go to a website that tells you about breeds and pick the dog that best suits your lifestyle (how much time you can spend exercising the dog, if you have a yard, do you have extra $ for grooming, etc.) Love all of the names.

what difference does their name make?
you asked help picking out the right dog. I think the right dog is the one down at the shelter who wags his tail when you walk in and the one that makes your heart melt.

You have quite an array of sizes and personalities that you are choosing from. Depending on where you live (house or apt), city or country, what are you going to be doing with the dog, (lap dog or lots of activity) etc. Need more info before can suggest best breed for you. . . .

It depends… what's your personality. Can't help you choose the right dog without knowing what your like. Me I personally like the Chocolate Lab or the Boxer.
It depends on your lifestyle… where do you live? How active are you? Ect.

Thats a huge range of different breeds with absolutely different traits and personalities. You need the one that is going to best fit into your lifestyle. Do you know what you are looking for trait wise in a dog? Thats what you need to post and then ask which dog would be best. I personally love boxers I have three and foster(currently 12). They are loyal, smart, comical, and cuddly(even though a large breed). However they are working dogs and need lots of exercise and attention and training in order to be well behaved and a good member of the family. If that is not taken care of the dog will get into a lot of trouble.

Are you picking the dog based on it's name? I'm not suggesting any different breeds, just the fact that you've chosen 4 completely different types of dogs! Are you looking for a small lap dog or a large working dog? Think about which of those breeds would best suit your lifestyle and narrow it down from there…keep in mind that large breeds like labs and boxers require TONS of exercise and stimulation or they can become bored and destructive. Also, the costs will be different for each dog…obviously the larger the dog, the more you'll have to spend on food, etc. They're all great breeds, though, so I'm sure you'll make the right decision! Good luck

well of those i think that yorkies are to loud i have a half morkie and shess only have yorkie and she never shuts up boxers can be hyper and you could have problems but if your an expericed pet owner i guesse it could work but roxxane is such a qluechi i havnt known very many chocolate labs but the ones i have know are very high stornge but still very sweet dogs and ive never had or known anyone with a shih tzu but from what i can tell they are very nice but if i were you i would go meet the dogs first and pick your favorite becuase you cant just stereotype them they could be the complete oppisite of what thier breed is like

These dogs are completely different so you should do some research to see which best suits your needs. A lab would need room to run and play,a shih tzu has potentially expensive grooming needs, yorkies can be very active and bark alot…..There are great web-sites that could point you in the right direction. Be sure not to jump into this decision casually or underestimate the responsibilty and costs. Also consider your family situation, as many breeds are not good with children. Best of luck!
