Yesterday i saw an adorable shih-po puppy for sale.My mother and father let me play with him, a big mistake.He was perfect, he was hyper at first but then he calmed down.I fell in love with him rite away.At home i have a 12 year old shih-tzu, he is very relaxed and usually has his own schedule, sleep,eat,then walk, then sleep somemore. Would a little hyper puppy anoy him that muhc that he coul.d go into a deep depression.Could the new puppy be the death of him?i want hims o bad but then i wnat Champ(my other dog) to be happy also. Champ isnt that friendly towards other dogs, maybe a few of them but not many.Any body have advice on these questions?The pet shop allows older dogs to visit the puppies to make sure they react well but champ isnt that into trips so he might not be abnle to take the car ride. Any advice? please help!!

I would never get a dog from a pet store, the pups come from puppy mills where their parents have puppies EVERY heat cycle until they die a terrible death, they live in wire cages which they never leave and never get human contact.

As far as getting another dog, If your current dog is not good with other dogs, then its not a good idea to get a new hyper puppy. Let Champ live out his life, if later you decide you want a new pup then go for it, but make sure you go to a licensed breeder or a shelter.

im looking for a pup. either a shih tzu, peekingese or lasho apso or a cross between any of the 2. must b a male in the northamptonshire/ daventry area of the uk. iv searched local papers but theres nothing there, the sites online all seem to have them far away. our budget is £300 tops. which means it will likely have to b a cross to fit within our budget. does anyone know a sight or anything to find out where i could get one? thanks

The best places to get a dog for an afordable price is your local rescue groups and Humane Society. Just go online and look up dog rescue groups for your City, State. The prices can range from $80 to $200 or more. Usually they are higher if you go to a particular breed rescue group. I bought all my dogs from rescue groups. My first, Alexis I bought for $80, fixed, shots, and paid $20 for microchipping. My second I paid $85 that included fixing, shits and microchipping, the third cost $100, but he was my neighbor's, she had to get rid of him last minute cause her husband is beginning chemotherapy and couldn't keep him per doc's orders. SO I rescued him from the Humane Society of El Paso, but that price would include fix, shots and microchipping. My husband and I were gonna go to Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue of US, and pay $250 for a Rhodesian Ridgeback.

Again, Rescue Groups and Humane Societies are the best because you get a dog that's fixed, shots, microchipped for one great affordable price, and they've all been psyco analyzed to make sure they don't have any violent tendancies.

My husband and I have been searching for a reasonably priced puppy-preferrably female, and either a shih tzu, yorkie, chihuahua, or terrier mix breed. We love small, tiny dogs. Does anyone have any pups for sale?

I work at eh dog pound and you may have miss them but they had a litter of JRT yorkie mixes, they where only 4 pounds at over 8 weeks and very small boned, you sould try the dog shelter at different days, they have shih tzu pups sometimes, and had a maltipoo that was under a year that was under 10 pounds and very friendly, I work there and they are on alum creek, a puppy will cost around 125 dollars and that includes all the possible shots , fixed and if the pup gets sick with something it got from the pound and can have them treat it. Checking the dog pounds website is risky as all pups are not shown and many put on hold before you can get there

and thier are many purebreed rescues that have young dogs who are at reasonable price, you sould be willing to pay over 100 as these places do the shots and the spay
In fact come to the shelter this sunday they are holding a thing call Mingle with our mutts, it is on the first and third sunday of every month and many rescues come including cocker rescue and many othes with small and large purebreed dogs!
