Probably some puppy mill that 'invents' new breeds & sells them to unsuspecting fools. Like folks who pay $700 for a cockapoo. There's no such thing. Labradoodle, schnoodle, & so on. Tons of cute pups at your local shelter. At least go & take a look. You may find a friend & fall in love!

He remind me to E Wak- teddy bear from Star world, my husband think it' wierd, what do you think. Can you think of names that are commical? He's tan, round face
What about tooters, he toot with his horn(nose), Ewok better or Tooker is better?

I would go to akc.org and look for breeder listings. If you can find a name or number for any of the kennel clubs in your area (which may also be available at akc.org) you may be abled to find a local breeder who is not indiviually listed on the akc site.

Your local animal shelter…please do not buy from a breeder as there are almost 1,000 Shih Tzu's listed on petfinder.com that are looking for good homes…

Dont know off any breeders in croydon, but this store recently opened this year & they sell puppies etc, I recently got from them a Maltese/Shihtzu X Australian Terrier & he is beautiful he came microshipped, vet checked, wormed & vacinated. The details are below, hope this is helpful to you.

Contact the local AKC club and ask for reputable breeders. Accept No Substitutes.

We are looking to buy/adopt a shih tzu puppy in the very near future, and we'd like to weigh all of our options-like breeders and pet rescue organizations. Our last dog was a stray we took in, loved her and trained her, so we've never had to go through a breeder or an organization. Is there a way to find listings for legitimate breeders? I've heard so many horror stories about puppy mills, and I would never like to contribute to that type of business. What is better, the paper? The internet? Where do we start?

Do not buy from a pet store, and in general do not buy from a website that advertises puppies on the internet.

But with thousands of Shih Tzus out there needing homes, please consider rescue first.
