please follow the link and tell me what you think Bella is
purpleha what would you say her mix is
it has messed up genetics because that mix shouldn't have blue eyes or a brown nose. Maybe its not the mix you think it is. idk.
It seems to me like you have a one of a kind Maltese shih tzu mix! She does look like that mix If theres anything else in there i don't see it. That is one unique little dog you go there:)!
That is one super cute dog!
how do i train my maltese/shih tzu pup?she is 4 month?

Shih Tzus are not hard to train at all. In fact, they have been the easiest dog I have had to train. But since you have the mix of the Maltese, it could be hard.
The key to any training is PATIENCE and PERSISTENCE. Training does not happen over night.
What exactly did you want to train your pup to do? Potty? or tricks?
Can shih tzu and maltese eat fish?

The dried dog food I was planning to feed them contains salmon meal, that why I am curious
Yes, they can, but it has to be cooked, 100% de-boned and you need to be careful not to feed them to much or they'll get diarrhea. Salmon and mackerel are particularly good for dogs because of the oil in it. But not more than 2 or 3 bites for a small dog who's not used to it.
I am getting a Shih tzu maltese but i have a cat. does anyone have advice about how to introduce them?
Monday, August 18th, 2008i have a loving cat. but she can be VERY protective.
my old dog was attacked by her!
i really want this dog, and shes the only thing in my way!
but i love her!!!
try putting the dog in a carrier or small cage & set her in the middle of a room that the cat is in…let the cat come to her & decide wat she thinks of her…then once the cat is used to the dog take the dog out but hang on to her and let the cat come over & see what she thinks…then once shes used to the dog this way let the dog loose but if the dog chases the cat then get her back or the cat might scratch her
good luck! =]]

I have half shih tzu/maltese puppies almost 5 weeks and have their teeth poking through do i wean them yet?
Monday, August 18th, 2008I tried to give them some mushy almost soupy puppy food they have some interest at first after a couple lick they want no more, is this normal should i be more aggressive
You should've started the weaning process at 3-4 weeks old, feeding them small amounts of the mush at a time, then over the next 4 weeks slowly increased the amount of solid food fed while decreasing the amount of time they're allowed to nurse. They should be fully weaned by 6-7 weeks.
Try to get them to eat the solid food, and cut back on the amount they nurse from momma.
